Just an out there idea.. could it be izuna that is in the spiral zetsu? it could be plausible. notice how the spiral zetsu has no eyes? just like izuna would have none... just keeping open minded..

I said this too! I think Madara could of made Obito bring back Izuna as well when he brought back Madara when Madara forced him to. I think it either that or indeed Yamato though Yamato is being controlled. He is not evil for the simple fact when Naruto first activated his bijuu mode he would of sensed then the evil intent in Yamato since Yamato was right next to him.

How would Izuna be alive? .... Madara also revived him with rinne tensei? Explains why he showed up so late...

But seriously, no. I don't even think Izuna is the kind of character, that would have supported his brother in such a war. From what he said to Madara, when he was about to die, I really can't see it being Izuna, it wouldn't match his profile U_U

Its more then likely Yamato.
It is possible that its Izuna, but in my opinion it makes a lot more sense that Obito or Madara used Spiral on Yamato after being left defeated in Obito's hideout. It would explain the superior Mokuton skills he has been using.
