When Danzo was using his final technique he still has Sharingan in right eye.

Couldn't he use Izanagi by his Sharingan and "appear" Sasuke and Tobi got away from that place?

Orochimaru took Sasuke to the Konoha where is hidden Root.

When Pain attacked Konoha, Danzo run away from village because he wanted Tsunade die.
So it is Danzo's style - Don't take part in the war and stay hidden.

Orochimaru is the only person who can know about Danzo's position.

And.. Danzo was/is person who knew everything about Uchiha massacre.

Just thought of something but i'm not sure.. When Orochimaru said "them" could he possibly mean Izuna and Shisui?? Since none of them were revived they could be the ones who knows everything? Izuna was maybe against Madara's doing with all the war, maybe he too only wanted peace? And then there is Shisui. We already know that he was against the the Uchiha's coup d'etat and also wanted to bring peace to the village and the Uchiha. If this theory is wrong then i hope its either Hashirama, SO6P, Older & Younger brother ancestors of the Uchiha & Senju. (SO6P's sons)
