i been think is about the whole the 10 tails inside the moon and the so6p creating the moon could all be a lie a few reasons why

1. all the kage and most of the people of the world would know about it

2. also people would make a record of it being made and they cant miss something so big being made

3. its all tobi saying he told nagato about the sage and his feets to make he feel like a god what nagato wanted-

4. nagato said his ct didn't compare to the sage ct creating moon and how dose he know about this he never went to the uchiha table to read it only tobi might of went there

i personally don't believe it i think is all a lie to confuses the kages

It is possible that people don't believe it in naruto. After all the older the story the more people are going to be skeptical about it. Even if it is in records people would still think that something as big as that would be too impossible for it to be real and consider it to be nothing more than a myth.

The sage was around over 1000 years ago. As with all stories, overtime in turned to myths and legends. So alot of people may not know about it because to them it's just a myth. However, the older generation may have abit more knowledge. Anyway, where else would the Juubi's body be?
