Then this necklace is like the Uchiha's genjutsu they use on the jinchuuriki. But as a fact is that the Kyuubi broke the necklace very easily. I dont think it could handle all 9 at the same time. And it was mentioned that Hashirama had all the jinchuurikis.

The Necklace Hashi wears has notin 2 do wit the reason Y d bijuu fear him the necklace Cariz a small amount of his chakra. That Y yamato use the necklace 2 tame the Kyuubi they fear Hashi becuz of his chakra ....

yeah, he can suppress their chakra with wood style.. to a much much higher degree than Yamato can.

He controls them with mokuton similar to how Madara controlled the 9 tails with sharringan. There's a manga page with Orochimaru saying so.
