Like it or not, Jiraiya may actually make an appearance sooner, I do think he has some part to play.

Or else Kishi wouldn't have let only his body disappear in the sea.

Even Itachi did die by the hands of Sasuke, yet he came back.

Jiraiya may not come back to get involved in a fight, but may witness Naruto as the hero of the whole shinobi world.

Also, Naruto may tell Jiraiya about the change in Nagato. As Jiraiya died thinking Nagato is evil now.

i might make a thread on it but i thought that Jman stoy might have been more interesting if after his life story he did a Kaname Tousen and naruto and tsunade had to fight him

That is what Kabuto thought.. .It is more likely that Jiraiya had left from another exit by then for Kabuto to know
