You must be referring to the fight that Gai had against Kisame without samehada, You know the weapon that made Kisame as dangerous as a tailed beast, The weapon that was his main feature as a ninja, Cause im pretty damn sure even with Gai's incredible strength he would fail against kisame with samehada, You know the guy that beat the eight tails jinchuriki with only minor difficulty.

Now on to the actual subject of the thread, Gai could beat konan maybe kakuzu with high difficulty, Sasori very unlikely...Deidara possibily, The others like itachi nagato etc is almost impossibile and i believe someone already covered the match between him and hidan.

He's good no doubt there but akatsuki is the most powerful group in the series for a reason, I dont think a single akatsuki member has ever really been soloed at full power except for deidara.

i wouldnt exactly call it minor since samehada nearly betrayed him, bee almost killed him with the pencil but missed, he had to protect the samarai and the bear, and he couldnt go bijuu mode or else he would cause attention. other then that i agree 100%

That form was simply as stated...A form...He wasnt really struggling with kirabi, He seemed to be enjoying the fight, The pencil was about as close as bee got to actually winning that fight, Also just to clear that up, Kisame had already switched with a zetsu clone by then, So the pencil throw actually wasnt doing anything to kisame he was inside samehada by then, Its also debatable that the sword betrayed the Zetsu clone and not directly betrayed kisame at that time.
