Could Gai Help Defeat Kaguya?

Do you think 8 Gates Gai might have been able to assist Naruto and Sasuke right now in the battle against Kaguya? I mean we saw how Gai beat the crap out of Madara. So what if Gai could nearly do as much damage to Kaguya with the help of Naruto and Sasuke? I think that if he wasn't trapped in IT right now, he could've helped a lot. What do you think?

Of course he'd be helpful. He is weaker than Naruto and Sasuke, but he is in the "general" tier of Juubi Jinchuuriki. Being inferior does not mean he could not contribute; he is in that ballpark of power, and with Naruto and Sasuke as team mates, they could work wonders.
