In his fight with Naruto he depended on Ichibi completely >_> I dunno in Sakura and sai's case though ....[ may not need him]

but sure ichibi was important
He stopped relying on Shukaku after that fight...Gaara vs Kimimaro, Gaara vs Deidara...come on.

Even after he lost Shukaku after his fight with Deidara, he's been putting in work in the war arc.

1.he lost his fight against Deidara

2.all jinchurikis depend on their bijus, that's not a shame >_>

3.he was excellent in the war,but in part one he won his fight against Lee with high diff

-Ichibi was important, that's just how bijus are, depending on him is not bad,he didn't control him well so it was better that he lost the Ichibi but if he could control it,he would have been badass and would have never lost his fight against Deidara

1. Completely irrelevant to this discussion. I mentioned that fight because it wa a fight where he didn't rely on biju transformations of any kind. Doesn't matter if he won or lost, he pulled off wide scale moves, both offensive and defensive (arial at that) that Lee wouldn't be able to match.

2. That may be so, but since Gaara has the exact same abilities without a biju that doesn't matter.

3. He was confined to the enclosed arena, and in his fight with Kimimaro, Lee stated that Gaara was on a different level from when they faught at the exams. Besides that, Gaara is able to fight in the air, he can encase himself in a sphere made of hard sand while watching from his third eye to go on the offensive as well. I love Lee, but honestly he can't take Gaara at all.

we've swayed much from the thread >_<

to put my point clearly:Garaa is so strong without Ichibi,he's already kage level without him,but Ichibi would have given him much if he had controlled him...that's all.

Could he?
Probably.
Effortlessly?
Probably not.

Sai and Sakura were both nerfed in that scenario, Sai could've easily made a ink bird and provided airborne support, and launch Sakura at him with a drawn hand or something.

It could go either way, honestly, it depends on who's faster, Sai's bird or Gaara's sand. And as far as I'm concerned the sand is faster.

Sakura and Sai don't have any real counter to his sand. He is sneaky enough with it to catch them too. They would be burried in no time.

mid diff.

in naruto shippuden movie 3 gaara effortless soloed Sakura and sai, he didn't even notice they were there, they were so weak they got caught in his sand, and were being dragged down a cliff.
-
do you think that now current Gaara can still effortlessly take down sakura and Sai?
-
i personally believe he can :)
-

yup he still can do that

1. he lost to deidara cuz he chose his village over himself

2.gaara didnt do that at all from the kimimaro fight

3. in part 1 lee could go 5 gates, and gaara used only basic sand moves and gourd sand to fight. lee was the strongest konoha genin at that time. gaara walked out without any injury.

4. if he could control his bijuu,he would be a lot strongertrue, but he is stronger now than when he had the ichibi before
