All I'm seeing in this thread is A>B>C Logic which has been proven wrong plenty of times. For all that said Gaara can't take on sasuke, you all are crazy. And you continuously bring up the Gaara Vs. Deidara fight which was OLD as heck. But in My opinion I think a fight between Gaara and Itachi would Be INTERESTING ! But ultimately I think Itachi would have the edge in the battle and could pull out a victory.

But PLEASE don't say Gaara can't handle Sasuke or deidara . . . Thats Foolishness !

1. No I showed a feat, Gaara pulled someone out of Susanoo, it strengthens my argument, you can say "well that was because he had a red bull just before" but what I said still stands, until it is stated that Gaara can't do so without lightened sand.


2. Common? Only Sasuke has it, why would he use a slower less efficient Blaze Release if Ama is faster??? Can't be chakra consumption since he summoned a large susanoo immediately after wards.

3.As I said in a high speed battle obviously such a feat as catching someone in a Sharingan Genjutsu is not feasible, when Itachi got the Kakashi's clone in Tsukuyomi he held onto it, when Madara got the Raikage in Tsukuyomi he held onto him.

Every other time, the person stands looking into Itachi's eyes for a long period of time trying to analyse them, without knowing that looking into the eyes will leave them upon to a genjutsu.




Basically what I am saying is, for Itachi to Tsukuyomi Gaara in a high speed battle, he needs to make eye contact (short range, not gonna happen with Gaara), realise that he has made eye contact (Sharingan can analyse even at high speeds so Itachi could do this quickly) and activated Tsukuyomi before Gaara looks away.

I am saying it is not as simple as Gaara will always be looking Itachi in the eye, thus Tsukuyomi will land, and it will be a one shot battle.

Also, Gaara can fight Itachi with his eyes closed, Sand Eye No Jutsu.

In the desert, Gaara is very dangerous, but lots of people can avoid the sand underneath, like Madara, Muu, Oonoki etc. Itachi can't fly and his Susanoo has no underneath. obviously he can get pulled under. But if anyone flies against Itachi they will just be one shotted by Amaterasu

The difference between you and me is that when I make a strategy for Gaara, it is reasonable. People can counter it, but in this case, Itachi cannot. But whenever you make an argument for Itachi, nobody can counter what he does. It is just some bad reason by you as an Itachi fan.

gaara fought deidara above suna village in the air,not in the dessert on the ground. Sasuke cudnt have attacked gaara with enton,cuz he cudnt believe he had to guard himself with an enton,he cudnt have defended himself with enton against gaara either cuz he saluted gaara's defence,the enton technique sasuke has are:magatama which he used first after getting ems,shield of black flames which he used against kabuto and the one on susanoo which he used against raikage,he also never said it was enton either when using it against gaara,the blobs of fire on gaara's sand were identical to the one on that samurai's armour,sasuke used amaterasu against gaara which he saluted gaara after he blocked it,and cudnt believe the raikage was powerful enough to force him to use enton to protect himself(the guy moved faster than sasuke cud react,took out cs2 juugo,dodged amaterasu,deflected sasuke's chidori katana and was unharmed by a chidori simply bcos of his armour,broke susanoo ribs etc.) if u look at itachi's amaterasu after he used it against sasuke's fireball,it was the same blob of fire that appeared and started spreadig around,he also didnt say amaterasu the second time he used it. Gaara knows the ms techs and obviously knows abt itachi due to the intelligence sharing among them in the war,he wins handily in the dessert,equal chance or a little higher for itachi outside. My honest opinion.

Assuming Gaara is smart enough to realize he needs to keep his distance and that Itachi is sick and doesn't have the best stamina, he could win in the desert. All he has to do is fly really high and continue to throw sand at Itachi for a few hours. Itachi doesn't really have any long range attacks and Gaara's sand has already been shown to be able to block Amaterasu. Itachi will be forced to use Susanoo to block Gaara's sand but that would be to Gaara's advantage if he continuously attacks him. Itachi would be just be draining chakra trying to continuously defend with Susanoo. So assuming Gaara can keep up his sand manipulation more than Itachi can keep up his Susanoo, Itachi basically will die of chakra loss and Gaara wins

I think it would be a very difficult fight. It also depends on where the battle is located. Gaara would have the advantage in the desert. However, I don't believe that Gaara could win IF Itachi was completely healthy (no disease or blindness).

itachi pawned a 9-10 yr old deidara who didnt know what a sharingan was... not much of a feat,do u think that little deidara cud win against gaara?. A 19yr old deidara who had trained to nullify genjutsu and has nukes,is far more powerful than the one itachi fought,came to fight gaara in the air,above the village,...yet still had to attack the village in order to actually get close to gaara to attack him.he fought a sharingan user with raiton which was his weakness and had a cursed seal lvl 2,had orochimaru's powers,yet still managed to draw out the fight and almost killed him while choosing to kill himself(u realize sasuke cudnt walk after that fight and it was oro's healing powers that let him recover). How can u ppl compare that little deidara to the current one and how can u compare itachi's fighting style to deidara?. Thats absurd..

I've seen alot of people say Gaara could beat Itachi but i'm not really sure myself. In a normal battlefield, I would say Itachi just about wins it. Even then Gaara has a big chance to win. In the desert I would say Gaara wins with low - mid diff, because he can fly etc and he has almost limitless sand. I don't think Itachi could keep up stamina wise. No eye contact if Gaara is high in the sky etc.

What do you guys think?
