[Discussion] Could Devil Fruits manipulate each other?

I know this is old but whatev
If Doflamingo were to fight Cracker, could he transform Cracker's biscuit soldiers into strings to use against him??

[HowDidIGetPrem]

i think not because of how it'd affect fights. the battle would just consist of them constantly fighting over control of material, and there's no real hype or feats in that. Cracker turns the ground into biscuit men, makes them attack, Doffy counters by turning them into string, makes it attack, Cracker turns the string into biscuit men, makes them attack, Doffy counters by turning the biscuits into string, makes them attack, repeat... Not a chance of that ever being a possibility.

I'd say yes only if it's not clad in haki. I mean we've seen doffy strings made up of buildings ground etc all non living things. The df power may come from something living but it is not living itself (with exceptions like big mom and brook) so ueah id say so. I'd also say katakuri could do so against his brother as well with his endless mochi. Though what's interesting about katakuri its never stated that he turns his surroundings into mochi it just shows the room being filled with it so maybe it comes from his body similar to how doffy has strings in his body.

Wait i thought cracker made his biscuits? Not that they come from the ground? He's not a df master (at least it wasn't stated) if so then is it the near unlimited soldiers?

Cracker wasn't shown to be able to make things biscuits like that though. Cracker can produce biscuits from himself like Mr 2 does wax but he wasn't said to be awoken so we can't assume he's like Kata or Doffy in the regard of affecting the world around them.

OT: Yes Doffy should be able to turn any biscuits made into string via awakening.
