Could Adult Shin Uchiha be connected to kaguya somehow?

The reason I ask this is because how is it possible that his hideout is in kaguya's dimension? not just that but sasuke said that he used his powers to track traces of kaguya's chakra by her dimensions,what does that mean? sasuke can't travel to kaguya's dimensions with his rinnegan can he? so why is he confident that he found shin's hideout which is in kaguya's dimension and that he can take everyone there?.
