Could a Hokage order the killing of a sannin for no reason?

Ok. Hokage pays the ninjas. They get paid for missions. If the Hokage paid them enough to kill them, that's pretty ninja like

Lol, true, I didn't think what I said through. But, it would depend if the Anbu see the sannin as part of their "family" so to speak, in this series, some ninja like Hiruzen see everyone in their village as family.

Anbu cant touch an Sannin and everyone knows it the only strong Anbu there was is Torune and he doesn't have the speed feats required too touch you too utilize his overpowered attack

Danzo ordered anbu's to assassinate the 3rd hokage theres nothing worse then that and they followed Danzo's orders without a question Lol

Are you really gonna say that about a manga like this where kids grow up wanting to kill each other. Lets not forget the fact that Sasuke, Danzo, Orochimaru and many more got away with murdering just for sport.

The anbu can't even take down one Sannin let alone all 3
They will die and the sannin will kill the hokage and take over

For no reason? Depends on the ethics of the Hokage

The Anbu would follow orders and try to carry it out. It's doubtful they could accomplish it, though (as in Orochimaru's case.)
