if kabuto happened to summon madara and hashirama back to attack the leaf village. and obviously do more damage then pain did via basic shadow clones (to eliminate those fodder chunnin and under)

naruto and sasuke are absent and might gai and his team are present

7 gated gai wouldn't do much against the force of the ninja gods and thus will unleash the red beast to protect the village and allow his comrades to seal them

will he prevail or fail and have to leave it up to naruto and sasuke agin to come and make shit 10x worse with play no jutsu

SM Rinnegan Madara is debatable. If Gai starts with elephant steps, he
gets limbo'd and killed. If he starts with Night Gai, it is debatable whether
Madara can use the limbos to hold off Gai as Gai would be extremely fast.
I am referring to double rinnegan Madara of course. So I say double rinnegan

Against EMS Madara and SM Hashirama he can defeat them, his attacks bent space and even Juubi Jin Madara couldn't keep up. Unless they pull up some regeneration ( Hashirama ) on level with a JJ , Gai takes this and ofcourse he dies in the end with them.[SUB]

well what can hashi do against even elephant there entire battlefield was wrecked when he and madz fought but gai punched a whole much deeper then then the buddha stat and ps did the entire day

8th gated Gai would murk both of them.

Juubi jinchuriki Madara is faster than Juubito who's way faster than BM Naruto, and Gai could almost blitz madara with EE. The individual strikes of his EE were much more powerful than BSM Naruto's senpou bijuudamas as a single hit punched madara through his onmyouton shield and across the landscape. He's just be too fast for shinsuusenjuu to hit him and he'd blow a hole in Madara's PS with a few punches.

Rinnegan Madara would end up the same, the only difference is that he'd actually be able to hurt Gai a little with attacks such as shinra tensei or limbo, but the end result would be the same.

And Hashi only hope is shinsuusenju But still doubtful since Guy runs faster than what either can track and can bounce off air (fly) to Hashi. 1000 hands would miss.

They are Edo though soo.....unless there is a sealer none of this matters. If it's non edo/ living than Gai stomps....literally (EE)

Would be awesome to see Guy spam elephant steps as fast as morning peacock to counter 1000 wooden hands. That collision alone would kill off near by survivors

Saving the village is a win in this scenario. Plus there is a chance he doesn't die from 8th gate if Naruto has his current power in this scenario.
