Could 7th gate Guy beat Deva Path?

Cloaked Naruto was able to withstand Deva Path's Force Push Jutsu and that was only a fraction of the Kyuubi's power. With the feats we have seen from 7th gate Guy I believe it can be compared to the strength of 6 tailed cloaked Naruto.

7th Gate Guy's punches were that strong that he could create giant shock waves under water that had the strength even to out do an incredibly powerful water Jutsu. With that feat it shows he has incredible strength while in this form so I don't see why he wouldn't be able to break through Deva Paths Jutsu.

This could also be the reason why Kishi decided to have Guy not in the village when Pain attacked and only arrive when all the fighting ended.

Eh, I think otherwise. Hiruodora or Gai's peacock technique alone does not have the firepower to destroy CT. Also, since Gai doesn't have info, he won't know to destroy to orb from the start anyway, he's a little dim-witted sometimes. Gai also doesn't have a counter for shinra Tensei that took out Konoha.

He was 8 tailed when trying to great it yet he failed so kurama wanted naruto to break the seal so he could go to 9 tails mode, for crying out loud not 6 tails. And it's true he(Gai) can't counter CT

His raw power and speed should just allow him to ignore CT and go straight for Deva. him entering 7th gate mode was pushing the water away from him.

I agree if the seal was finished I doubt Guy would get out of it but as it is being used (the planetary body forming) I can't see why Gai wouldn't just be able to blitz through the rocks and go straight for Deva.

Neji's sight would of countered the eight points of vision of the rinengan and guy and lee's speed & strength were still beyond naruto's at that point.
