I sure this has been asked many times, but if minato somehow got close to Orochimaru, could the contract seal set the hokages free from edo tensei. Edo Tensei is classified as a summoning jutsu.

Maybe, I'm not sure.
I think it only severs the contract made between users and their summoned beast, but there is a chance that it's capable of severing any contract, including Edo Tensei.
