Another great day to ask NB members of their opinion regarding the importance of contract seal. No flaming please. Let us vote on what we really know and what was really shown in the manga.
Contract Seal: Defined as a fuinjutsu that can remove any direct control the summoner has over a summoned creature.
The contract seal was first used by Minato during his fight against Tobi. Let's go back to that scene and see what it can really do.
It's pretty clear that Kurama was being controlled by means of Sharingan's genjutsu, right? I hope no one disagree with this. It was the sharingan's genjutsu (particularly MS) that was responsible for the control of Kurama. No other method was used to control Kurama as shown above.
Since the sharingan's genjutsu was used to control Kurama and the contract seal was able to remove the control over kurama, is it safe to say that a contract seal can remove the sharingan's ability to cast genjutsu when it is already placed on the user?
Let's consider this: If Tobi can control Kurama again on that time after the seal was placed, what's stopping him from doing it again?
Why called it a seal if it can't really seal a particular ability on that particular time?
Again, the question is: Can a contract seal remove the sharingan's ability to cast genjutsu when it is already placed on the user on that particular time?
Thanks for reading...
