you take as much T's of your enemy as what you rolled + your bonus. So if you roll 4 which is worth 6 you count your bonus +6 when taking over

It is really simple. The higher roll wins. You can see how much each roll is worth. If you roll 9 and someone rolls 5 you win cause 9=9 and 5=6 even if his bonus is +88888 and yours is +1 you can still win by a higher roll although if they win they take obviously more land that is what bonuses do.
