we all have seen a few rare people use CoC.
but all we have seen is it taking out fodders(which is totally awesome though).
but as admirals reacted to luffy's CoC on marineford as a very dangerous power.
so i dont think knocking out fodders is all it can do. maybe it can enhance your existing strength or power to a super level or lets you manifest a new ability. seeing it as dangerous power it wouldnt be far fetched(though reyleigh said you cant train yourself to manipulate it).
what do you guys think....
P.S. Maybe shanks has a manifested power(just a wild guess)

yeah.... didn't you see the clash of CoC haki between Chinjao and Luffy, there's more to it then knocking fodders out.

It was in the manga. Doffy and Luffy's clash with CoC caused huge cracks to erupt in the palace walls.

I'm pretty sure CoC would be better described as the bending of wills not "knocking out fodder" I believe we have seen CoC in different forms already, specifically when zoro clashed with the dragon and monet, screen gets a blue filter couple sound effects and check that dragon's eye, fades for a second like getting fazed like what CoC does to fodder but it wasn't quite the same

You should go check out Vandenr1ech's stuff about Conq. Haki it's pretty interesting and the new game Pirate Warriors 3 shows Shanks using a red aura to slow down time, most assume it's a conq. haki relation(I haven't got there yet so idk)

It may be that those with CoC naturally draw people to them like a magnet. They are seen as figures of power. Notice how all those we have seen with CoC have shown to have substantial influence over those around them. Luffy and the strange way he makes allies, Don Chinjao with his Navy, Doffy with the way he subjugated Dressrosa and how he attracted his executives despite being much younger than them. Just a few examples.
