I know there have been multiple threads like these lately so I apologize but I've been thinking about this alot since the last manga so please read first and no flaming.
Since ive read the last chapter of the manga ive been thinking of something. Tobis space time jutsu reminded me of a group of people from another show. If you have ever seen the show ben 10 then you might know who im talking about. At the end of the Ben 10: Ultimate Alien series there was a new villain known as diagon. His followers known as the esoterica had a simialar power to tobis. here is a pic of what they look like.
The esoterica had the ability to quickly travel into another dimension paralleled to our own. The thing about the other dimension is it is much smaller than the original. Therefor the esoterica had learned to navigate the other dimension and could almost appear to teleport because of the difference in the distance that had to be traveled. That made me think of tobis S/T jutsu and the dimension he traveled into.
So this made me think that tobis pocket dimension must be much smaller
therefore he can travel faster and appear to teleport as well.
And my other idea of tobis jutsu where he becomes intangible is that he has mastered the jutsu to such a point that he can transport his physical state to his pocket dimension while leaving a projection of himself in the original dimension. And that he has leaned how to keep the dimension open like a window where he can still see and here everything that is going on as if he was really there. Now I know this is a stretch and a complete theory but i would like your opinions on my ideas.
