I thought madaras plan was to destroy konoha for betraying him??

And he wants the tailed beasts to make sure he can do that.

The problem im having is pein appears to be whooping everyone, and can deal even with legendary sannin with ease, and also has madara to kick around.

I mean think about it, imagine

pein.konan,madara,zetsu,hidan,kakuzu,itachi,sasori,orochimaru,deidara,kisame all attacking a village.

Deidara could be above dropping crazy amounts of bombs, kisame could be going around flooding areas and killing many with his sharks, orochimaru can summon massive snakes, and managed to invade and almost win against konoha himself anyway, sasori can unleash his massive collection of puppets and do devastating attacks with poison EVERYWHERE, itachi could summon susano and cover everyones ass with yatas mirror, kakuzu and hidan could just have fun fucking around as theyre immortal
zetsu could relay any potential problems

madara cant be hurt so far, and with a village in chaos its not that simple to stand around and think about how hes doing it.

Konan appears very accomplished, and no one knows her ability,

And to top things off, pein can take down konoha with ease no problems as of right now.



All of them together the akatsuki could pwn villages without the tailed beasts...so why bother going after the tailed beasts??

something else is being planned by madara here surely...because he has enough power already to take down konoha

who said destroying konoha was madara's TRUE plan! hes manipulative and evil he could want the tailed beasts for some other reson! maby useing there chakra he can become immortal (that is if he isnt already) we have no clue what his true intentions are

No mate, their plan is not destroying villages, their plan is to gain ultimate weapon to control the world. They don't want trouble fighting the villages.
