Confused? Don't be!

More than half of the Base today seems really confused about the chapter, and I'm not sure why.

What happened? : Kakashi and Obito unlocked the 3T Sharingan and the Mangekyou at the same time. Clearly because the eyes are connected still (as was evident when Obito could still see through it.) This seems like the biggest source of confusion. Kakashi passed out as well, probably from exhaustion from either his Sharingan going under such an erratic change (we recall in Part 1 when he was basically incapable of moving after just having the Sharingan unlocked in his fight with Zabuza) or from shock of killing Rin. Then Obito got mad and trees started being aborted from his arm.

Now I've seen plenty of people saying "But the Sharingan can't do that, Kishi trolled us blah blah blah I know more than the creator!" To which I say. . .it can, Kishi said so.

the only thing im confused about is..that kakashi was passed out in the middle of the blood bath...but obito didnt hurt kakashi in any way....maybe that'll happen next week

this is quite good though since its obito eyes if 1 unlocks the other should, and that will make kakashi exhausted since he didn't have huge chackra levels, stated by many ninjas: itachi, himself etc.

Rin is something special that much is for sure. We don't know how special, but I stand with her having some special DNA, but if that were the case then Kakashi killing her literally meant nothing. It remains to be seen.

See I don't buy that it happened within seconds of each other, just doesn't seem logistically possible. But, impossibility is always possible :scorps:

We all know that rage is a wonderful catalyst for precision.

My only problem with this chapter was the fact that he used the wood release so well and has never used it since. If he has that capability why not ever use it again. The only thing that will redeem this is if Obito never uses wood release again. The only thing I can think is that it was the Zetsu body that was actually responsible for the wood release of that level if not I can see a lot of people getting cranky about it. As they already are about Kakashi having awaken his Ms haha
