First of all, read the explanation of what "Haki" is...

Haki is a mysterious power that is found in every living being in the world. It is not that different from the normal senses.

According to Rayleigh... (as explained by him to Luffy during his training)

"Haki" is a power that lies dormant in all the world's creatures... "Presence", "fighting spirit" and "intimidation"... It is not different from the things that humans can naturally sense such as these... 'The act of not doubting'. That is strength!

Types of Haki :

- Kenbunshoku Haki, also known as Mantra, is a form of Haki that allows the user to sense the presence of others, even if they are concealed from view or too far to see naturally.
- Busoshoku Haki, which allows the user to use their spirit as armor to defend against attacks or to make their own attacks more potent.
- Haoshoku Haki, a rare type of Haki only one in a million can use which grants the user the ability to overpower the will of others.

Most people who can use Haki tend to have a type they are better at and as a result focus on that type. However, a person can improve their abilities with all the types of Haki, it just requires more work.

As said, if a person awakens a Haki, tends to have a type they are better at and as a result focus on that type...
In case of Usopp, it's the opposite. Usopp awakened Kenbunshoku Haki. Usopp is good at sniping. And that explains all why he is capable of awakening Haki. In chapter 758, his sniping ability was leveled UP with the help of Viola's ability. Plus, Usopp had a strong WILL to not to FORGET Luffy and hence wanted to save Luffy. And he sensed the changes by himself. Here it is...

From the pages before this page, It was clear that he planned to aim at Sugar according to Viola's instructions and he couldn't see how the target is standing etc... etc... and when he was about to shoot, he sensed the changes that he was able to see the aura of Luffy, Law and Sugar from that distance. This distraction lead the aim to shift a little from the target which actually happened otherwise the hit would have been spot on to Sugar.

Conclusion : It's confirmed that Usopp, awakened Kenbunshoku Haki.

I'm sure Oda will branch out the haki's again, not introduce new types but have subsections. I wonder if Yasopp has the same "type" of CoO as usopp does.

I think as with armament haki, observation haki is gonna have variations to it, and i think with ussop his gives him augmented vision capabilities that will allow him to snipe from harf to imagine distances, but all in all it will still b similar in a way coz all variations will augment the observatory skills of the wielder.
