Chap 698 proves this by bringing Sasuke back "into the light" with like 10 pages of dialogue, (albeit missing an arm) Every final villain besides Kaguya/BZ succumbed to TNJ in the end. Even Madara came around to Hashi in his final moments. Discuss.

It's terrible. For all that resolve, Sasuke just falls apart. I'm surprised people didn't think Sasuke would succumb to TnJ. From last chapter, you could tell the TnJ would be that much sweeter. It's nauseating, it really is.
