It was, but you clearly haven't been on the forums as long as me. There's a ton of people who don't want to believe a character has a power because it threaten their fave, so they try to say "If it's not exactly stated in the manga, it's not there."

I never really understood the haters, I mean, they keep denying (sometimes obvious) stuff, and for what? Even if Kishi was like, "nope, Minato isn't a sensor after all", would it really change anything? Sensing isn't such an awesome power, I mean back in Part I skilled ninja could sense danger/presence without any special skill whatsoever, and I think it's even cooler when they display intuition like that rather than relying on some built-in radar.

Minato is one of the best sensors and he has good sensing feats but haters just don't want to admit that fact.

In Kakashi gaiden Minato sensed that jounin and was testing the tracking skill's of his students then Kakashi tracked that guy's presense after awhile then Minato conformed that he is aware of that by saying "nice Kakashi in this scan

Apparently he has to "change it to sensor type." Remember, this wasn't Kurama's doing, he told Minato to change his own chakra. I strongly suspected he was a sensor considering he did the same finger thing as Tobirama. Now it's confirmed.

Two pages before that Lee did the same thing and notice sakura that means nothing
