Confirmation Boruto anime will not recap Boruto Movie

I'd laugh if they started off with a recap. The movie, the manga and now the anime. It's like there's only one story to tell with Boruto and his generation. And Naruto ended in 2014. It's about to 2017. Tsk tsk

It likely recaps to allow the manga to get some new material. They can start the Boruto anime off with Naruto Gaiden and the One Shot. That is at least 8 episodes between both which is 2 extra chapters for the manga. Sales wise, a new anime will drive manga sales up, while it does new material. At least let the new guy get a full volume ahead before you do an anime

This manga was at its peak in the middle of Part 2. Random adventures of little and inconsequential kids sounds lame as hell.

Part 1 Naruto was pretty good considering it had two of the best arcs in the entire manga. I do agree that this will be lame. Compare the CE in Boruto manga to part one Naruto, clearly part one Naruto is far far better.

The CE in Boruto were just a backdrop though whereas in Naruto they were the main focus.
