Before anybody would react to my confession, please, read it first, THEN answer to it.
I must confess someting: I ALWAYS, ALWAYS HATED BOTH MASASHI KISHIMOTO AND HIS MANGA, NARUTO!
Why? Because of 3 reasons:
1.It has became famous without showing up anything!
Yes, I firmly believe that Naruto never added anything new to the neverending shonen fight serieses like Kinnikuman Hokuto No Ken or Dragon Ball did! Even Bleach and One Piece added more to the genre than Nartuo!
The majority of the characters are stolen from the old mangas (Naruto = Kinniku Suguru, Sasuke = Vegeta ect), the story development is just as crap as the old ones (new arc new story pushed the reset button before it), the majority of the techniques are also stolen from other old mangas and the fact that the so called "emotions" are also took from other mangas but only made them more syrup like that it is not even healthy anymore!
Yet, people called this series "something new".... yeah, sure, new, huh?
And no matter how much you deny, Kishimoto pulled everything out from his butts! Or if not, then:
1.Where was foreshadowing for Kaguya and the Big FMA Tree Shinju from the first 640 chapters?
2.Where was foreshadowing about the Juubi in the first 460 chapters?
3.Where was no mention or hint about Rikudo and his children in the first 360 chapters?
4.Why didn't Shukaku and Kyuubi noted themselves or anything if they were related (according to Part II)?
The so called power levels are gone, the battles became comical yet people called it true ninja battles.... yeah, ninja are surely detonate huge mountains.
2.Because of it's blind fandom!
The majority of Naruto fandom are so blind that they not only believed that Naruto was far "something more" and "more better", than other serieses, like Bleach, One Piece, Hokuto No Ken, Dragon Ball, Fullmetal Alchemist ect, BUT if somebody had a bad word about it, the fandom jumped on that person and insulted him/her until they left the forum by themselves.
Whenever I asked them, "what is that more thing that is not in in every other shonen fight serieses", they always gave me the answer "it has morals, it is NARUTO". Sure, the "morals" of Naruto are the exactly same "morals" that can be found in EVERY other shonen serieses!
3.The denied that all they cared about was SHIPPING, yet they are hate the shojo and harem genres!
When Kishimoto put a shipping moment, the entire forum became so pink that not even the tedy bear from Toy Story 3 could handle it! When I was ranting about why don't they read shojo or other romance theme manga if they only care about it, they always denied it and insulted me. AND NOW that there are official canon pairings, the shipping war became even more brutal! Shippingers sending death treaths to the mangaka and his family, harassing the mangaka and his assisstants to change the canon pairings and EVEN try to ban the manga JUST because of a pairing! BECAUSE OF 1-2 PAIRINGS!
I think we can take these as direct confessions from them that they NEVER READ NARUTO FOR ITSLEF, NOR THE STORY, NOR THE FIGHTS NOR THE CHARACTERS THEMSELVES, BUT JUST FOR PAIRINGS!
Let me ask them again: if you wanted romance so much in a manga where romance were not the main theme, why did you wanted them?
4.Because of Kishimoto, legendaries mangas and mangakas were shut down into the shadows!
Because eveybody hyped Kishimoto's cheap, unoriginal comic, everybody read only Naruto, while true masterpieces and true, talented mangakas were gone or never became famous.
Most prominent example is Naoki Urasawa. He is a talented man, whom the other mangakas call as the "second Tezuma Osaku", and not only for praising him! Here's some masterpiece from him:
These are all masterpieces without any shipping fanservice, yet only the minority of the readers know them. Most of them sold more than 10 million volumes but none of them reached the 100 million volumes despite they deserved. Yes, they are seinens, but I don't think that genre has anything to do with sales.
Also, other legendary mangas and comic didn't got they deserved places like Shin Angyo Onshi!
These are all quality mangas with deep morals and lessons, with awasome stories, loevable characters and the mangaka respects all of it's characters! Unlike Naruto where after the manga ended Kishimoto insults not only his fans (usually Sakura and NaruSaku fans) but also insults his own creations too (Neji, Sakura, Hinata ect)!
And the worst of all that while most of them (Pluto, 20th Century Boys, Shin Angyo Onshi) never got anime adaption, Naruto spammed 10 movies, 600 anime episodes, 8 OVAs and other staff!
So, that was my confession. Sorry, I had to do it, because I couldn't hold it back.
