Obito- While he may turn good, it doesn't matter. He, in my opinion, has a 95 percent chance of redeeming himself by sacrificing himself, but he will die. He has done far too much. This whole mangas' problems are because of him. Naruto's parents, the village attack, the uchihas being massacred. This war. Orochimaru stands a better chance. (which I doubt will happen, one of those enemy turns good but walks off after the battle is over kinda deal) Obito will die, his final moments he will see what he did wrong and say something to naruto to bolster his resolve. Madara is the final villain.

Sasuke-Is fully possible. Look at what Gaara has done, killed innocent kids, involved in an attack on another hidden village. Was sadistic and crushed people for fun. Is now the Kage. Sasuke did go rogue and attacked the summit but he did not do anything on the scale that obito has done. Sasuke will either return to the village, or be like Jaraiya and wander around. Or become co-hoke with naruto.

I agree, I think this is what will happen for these two characters.

I still don't think Sasuke will turn "good". Right now I get more of an Orochimaru feeling from Sasuke, where he's just helping out Naruto right now because not helping would prevent him from doing what he wants. Plus if you go back and really look at the things Sasuke has done/said since he arrived at the battlefield, it always looks like he has his own secret agenda to complete. Plus theres that one line Sasuke said when he saved Naruto (I forget what chapter), but he said "No. I will be the one to erase him". So he still feels the need to destroy what Naruto stands for

I think Obito's gonna pull a Nagato and possibly do Rinne Rebirth or what not. But that might be a little repetitive... but I want Neji back. :'(
As for Sasuke, I agree, I think he's done a little too much to be welcomed back into the village with open arms, considering he killed Danzo, basically a rightful Kage. I think he's gonna be a Jiraiya and wander about with Juugo and the other members of Taka.

But, looking at all the times he has tried to protect Naruto, even inspiring Naruto to keep fighting, Sasuke's purpose might be different from Naruto, but I highly doubt he'll turn evil.

I think Naruto and Sasuke will fight and it will end in a tie similar to the animes s-Cry-ed or Samurai Champloo. If not a tie, than they both fall but one gets up and helps the other to move forward.

Obito has to die.

Orochimaru will probably travel the world but will have one final interaction with Tsunade and the Third, and maybe visit the place where Toad Sage died or build a shabby memorial.

Kishi could also throw us all for a loop and make Sasuke Hokage and Naruto the head of a new "United Nations" of some sort. If there isn't some lasting formal bond between the villages, we'd be left to presume that war starts again down the road. (not that a formal bond would ensure that either...)

Do you really think he can do a mass Rinne Rebirth? I know he has plenty of raw power but I would think that that level of technique would require the control over the Rinnegan that Nagato spent his life mastering. Obito has only had the Rinnegan for a ver short time, relatively speaking

I agree with your assement of current Sasuke. However, even like that Sasuke has improved considerably from his Five Kage Arc. For example, Sasuke stabbed Karin even though medics are always useful to have around. She was still of use to him. However, since joining, he's saved several characters. He's also apologized. He's still a dark character but my point is that he is less dark. With that in mind, it would be poor writing to have Sasuke inch is way towards the light and go back to being irredeemable villain. What would be the point of that development?
Sasuke still needs development to get redemption but the pattern is that he is getting closer, and that shouldn't go to waste.
As far as fighting Naruto goes, Naruto forgives him after successful use of tnj. Sasuke since he actually thinks about the present now would be susceptible to tnj unlike before when he cared only about the past.
