Computer help/Windows 7/ Internet Explorer (I do not know how to spell that word)

OK so I just got a new laptop today but this also happens in my other computer (desktop one) like certain programs takes me straight to windows explorer I do not want that to happen every time I open a certain program I want it to take me straight to Google Chrome can anyone please me I will give out reps for everyone who tries their best to help me thank you ​

How do I do that

Well after u install it, it will be an option that will ask you if you want to set Google Chrome as your default browser.
If not, when you want to open something with it, go rught click -> Open with -> Google Chrome and be sure that the "Always use this to open this kind of program" option is ticked.

When you open Google Chrome, it should say, "Do you want to set Google Chrome as your default browser?". That is unless once you clicked "No" and "Never ask again".
