Computer=broken.

So i am typing this on my phone.
What seems to be the problem? Well, first off the computer just died, no reason. Lights went off so to speak. I restarted my computer, only to find it starting up in a repair sort of mode.. The theme feels like windows xp, resolution got much lower and i simply cannot run my OS(Win7ult). So ok, i gotta let.. W/e fix scan my computer(i think it was called Microsoft startuprepair. I do that, no ertor but it says the problem cannot be fixed automatically. So ok my only option now is to make format my HD. I put in the CD that says System formating. Ok so now i am installing a new OS(Win7ult), great. Problem is when i now start the computer i have my new OS installed in the Microsoft Startuprepair, screen res is locked, i can't find my other harddrive at all. It can't even find my neteorkcards, hence i cannot browse the web. So now what did i do? Well i installed another OS in the secound HD. Eveything went just as before, only now i can atleast find both HD's. Computer can't find netcard, or anything other than the HD's.

So now i am stuck with a computer with two OS's and both of them is running in a bugged Microsoft Startuprepair. I can' even re-format both HD's. I get an error message saying: No system restore points has been created on the conputers systemunit.

I think it's screwed...

I take it you have the cd containing the OS which you installed it from.
You can also use that to format the HD's.

I'd say you reinstall the OS on your main HD, and see if you can get it to run.
( If it doesn't boot from your HD, press the function key that is shown on the screen at startup and go to boot options, you should be able to select HDD or make it a default. )

Oh, and one tip.
Do NOT format a HD with the name 'system' in it, just your two HD's, if you format everything then your computer will just be an empty shell containing nothing.

did you get a disk that came with your computer? If you did, use that disk. Im not trying to sound sarcastic. I hope this helped

Well no sir i tried that, same error message. I need to restore the computers both HD's, to get out from the Microsoft Startuprepair, then re-install a OS.. But simply put i can't. It doesn't let me..

Doesn't show up there. In the boot menu i can only select what of the two OS's i want to run. Also a tool, scanning memory units for.. Problems, wich i have done twice, no errors.

Hmmm... Are you sure it's startup repair or is it safe mode?

Well you said that you formated and installed a the OS again, but that doesn't mean the drivers for your motherboard (and in some cases network card if it's not integrated) was installed (in the case of my custom built it definitely means they did not). Formatting will remove all drivers as well. For the disk that came with your computer when running it, there should be an option available within it to install/update drivers for your motherboard (and if it doesn't have an integrated network card that as well).

I suggest you install a Linux distro. Doing this should help you determine if you have problems with your hardware or with Windows. If you actually do this and end up having a successful installation, then try using it as if you would Windows. Also, making a clean install with a Linux distro would automatically format your hard drive for you.

After all this is done you could go back and try to install W7 again. But if you can't install it, then my guess is that you are experiencing problems with your hardware.

Have you tried going on the Bios, tick the option to start from the CD with the OS, not from the hard, as in not just simply put the CD in there and wait for it to go, and then afterwards, just format everything.
