Comprehending Boruto from the spoilers

I see that some members, especially members that don't like Boruto are calling him a false prodigy and bashing him for cheating during the Chuunin exams.

I'm going to elaborate as easy as possible for those members that can't comprehend the bigger picture as to why he cheated and as to why that doesn't take away or diminish the fact that he is a prodigy.

Boruto was influenced and deceived by a scientist who manufactured the bracelet he used, Boruto hesitates but accepts it obviously because the scientist told him it will impress his father, which was Boruto's goal so he went on to using it despite obviously not wanting to at first.
This is obvious considering the dialogue between the two after Boruto is disqualified Naruto says "we're going to talk when we get home" and Boruto adds "If you were home we wouldn't need to talk about this" Boruto letting him know if he were home and cooperated with him he wouldn't need to go into desperate measures to get his attention by using the bracelet.
As for being a prodigy, he seemed to have learned rasengan fairly quick, he also was able to incorporate raiton into it unconsciously on the first try, something Minato and Kakashi couldn't even do along with being able to make a rasengan without clones. And on top of that creating His own unique jutsu, a rasengan that disappears after being tossed and strikes upon contact (like a teleporting rasengan) which Sasuke was impressed by afterwards Salada pointed out that it struck a tree. It seems like an overwhelming jutsu to use especially for a kid.
Let's not forget who finally takes down the final villain. U_U

I'm more interested in his character, than his power. I mean by feats obviously he is still going to shit, but he just won't be this new "God" of the new generation like people over wanked him as. Trying to remove the Prodigy title Kishimoto himself put on is ridiculous. Especially when the boy unconsciously applied his own chakra nature into the Rasengan when he learned it in a few hours, when it took Naruto a month.

Then I've heard spoilers of Sarada saving Boruto and apparently she has more skill, when she failed to save Boruto in the first place and Mitsuki had to save them both.

Funny enough Boruto saves Sarada during the rinnegan raid, but you don't see Boruto fan's telling everyone she is a fodder because of that. How transparent people are :lol

I'm aware he had help from Naruto and Sasuke but it seems he was the one that landed the strike on the final villain but yes credit to Naruto and Sasuke as well

That's actually the problem, he seemed to have cracked under pressure. It showed that he has flaws and isn't a simple Mary stu. He was tricked into using the device, and him wanting to impress his father made matters worse.

I agree accept he was never hailed by any character in the film as far as we know as a prodigy, he gained that title throughout the feats he's shown in the movie and especially after creating a raiton rasengan and another special jutsu of his own a disappearing rasengan that seems to be very overpowered for someone at his age

Honestly I don't see him as a prodigy. Naruto mastered rasengan within a week without fully understanding how it work. We don't be calling him a prodigy. Bolt doing shit "subconsciously" ain't a ticket to be calling prodigy in my eyes.

But then again, we gotta wait for the movie first.

I kinda agree, but he's not the only going through pressure, technically everyone is. If Naruto or any prodigy was in Boruto place they would have instantly said no since...

I think we all know that Sarada is irrelevant as her mother. So nobody got no time to call her out on that.

I guess he wasn't as confident mentally as he thought, sure he might have had the abilities if his mindset was straightforward, but I guess it was too much for him. I don't really like this route, but at least for the most part we get to see him help Naruto/Sasuke with Momoshiki in his own way.

Boruto obviously thought his feat wasn't good enough since he cheated in both rounds, you know what prodigies have in common? High pride/ego and extremely high self confidence

Also he only has a disappearing rasengan so far according to OD, he doesn't have lighting outside the device
