Oh okay makes more sense.
When I hear the name of those methods, I think about how powerful wind could actually be. Like method 2, wind is able to slice/cut things for example tree branches
Hm, alright, you don't get the point. Nevermind, that's why I'm here. So what I meant with the methods is this. When you create a wind technique, using shape manipulation you can shape it into any of the methods (forms) depending on your needs in the battle. You can create spinning vortexes (tornadoes), slicing waves and then there are special techniques like rasengan and rasenshuriken. Here are the detailed explanations.
Method 1: Tangible Blasts
Alright, for the most part, the techniques within this method consist of large and powerful gusts that you exhale from your mouth or release from another point of the body or simply out of thin air. These gusts contain a few essential properties. These wind techniques can either be long lasting, forceful gusts that have the ability to blow back various items and people/animals of various sizes. These powerful gusts apply a strong pressure in whatever direction release and, therefore any object that comes into contact will be forced back into the direction essentially. If in direct opposition (where one is coming in the direct opposite direction of the wind) or cornered against a wall or obstruction that prevents the flow, the pressure from the wind can have tremendous affects. The second type of skill these techniques may possess are blunt force; wind that is so compressed and refined that once it makes impact with the target it creates a blunt force, almost as if it was hit with a solid object. So techniques that create compact spheres will make impact in similar a way to a bullet or if the wind is spread out a little more like a wall, it could create the sensation of a solid wall impacting, etc. On that note there are distinct ways to casting the two different types of techniques in this section.
1) For Gusts: You'll gather your fuuton chakra through your body to the point of release and then you will release a steady, fast, and powerful gust of wind. You're gathering a fixed amount of chakra and then you're steadily releasing that chakra in the form of wind. You'll need to make sure it's fast and wide as the speed will give more momentum and force behind the technique.
2) For Blunt blasts: Think of projectiles. You'll gather a fixed amount of chakra like you would for any technique and then you would use shape manipulation to compact the wind into a compressed form like a ball, or whatever the technique entails. You'll then release the technique towards your opponent. The wind will be fast so it'll make impact quickly and once it does, it'll make a blunt impact almost like a solid.
Advantages to Method
To one extent, the long gusts, these technique aren’t necessarily the longest in range but many of them are definitely wide and the width of the technique is very crucial. These techniques essentially make it difficult to avoid when one is within length range of the techniques. These techniques can drag out and if not immediately defended, there is enough pressure to prevent your opponent reacting in the way they would want.
In reference to the blunt force blasts, these are where the real damaging factors of this method come in. These techniques are compressed and powerful and they almost simulate an actual solid object making impact. Small and medium sized weaponry or objects can be deflected, potential bone breaking/crushing can occur if hit with a considerably powerful technique. Disorientation, hesitation/inability to quickly rebound from a powerful strike, etc. Earth based techniques can be combatted with techniques like these.
Disadvantages to Method
As stated before, wind is a flowing entity and, even though it can produce powerful techniques, it is a yielding element in some degrees like water. What I mean by this is, for gusts especially, if a solid enough entity is used to defend, the wind cannot force its way through but it will go around. Earth based techniques are especially preferred when blocking wide gusts. The wind will simply move around the solid entity when it realizes it cannot force its way through. Unlike earth or other solid entities, when opposed, wind does not simply drop it diverts the energy around and continues to flow. As well that energy used to find an alternative route is energy lost by the overall technique.
For blunt force blasts, there is a completely different issue. Though fast as all wind techniques, these technique encompass a vastly diminished range with wise than with the gust based techniques of this method. This provides more room for opponents to avoid such techniques without necessarily needing a wide defense/counter. As well, the construction for techniques like this is to compress the wind in order to have it flow in a much tighter and compact space. Since this is indeed, not a solid entity, the wind will most likely disperse upon immediate impact. These are short lived techniques and generally shorter in range. Though these sudden dispersions can be explosive and cause damage, they still encompass a significantly smaller space.

Method 2: Slicing Gusts
Think of the tangible blasts from the first method of this element. Drawing from both the powerful gusts and the blunt force technique, in this method we get into adding the cutting property of Wind Release into the fray. Where in the last method, the primary objective was to provide powerful pressure to create resistance or a short solid impact, this method encompasses those properties, but adds emphasis on blade like properties. As explained in the series, the user of wind release manages to add these sharp properties by thinly rubbing their chakras against one another to fine tune the wind like a blade. Techniques in this method have the ability to slice through flesh and bone, trees, and still give the pressure and resistance as a normal gust would.
Advantages to Method
The most basic advantage is that you still maintain everything you get in the first method such as the powerful resistivity, as well as gaining an additional property. Again, these types of techniques are wider and even if they don’t range out much in length, they can encompass a wide range of targets within the limited range they’re in. As well, with the ability to shred through objects and even flesh, this gives one more of an advantage against solid obstructions, being able to cut through more and weakening them.
As well you have the blunt gusts of wind that act more so like blades, creating cleaner and sharper cuts. Since they’re more concentrated and condensed they essentially create a pseudo-blade.
Disadvantages to Method
These techniques possess the same disadvantages as the tangible gusts do. The yielding nature of wind, though the added cutting power does give assistance it is not the ultimate solution to solid entities, especially earth based solid advanced elements like steel. As well, where there are more than one overarching ability with these techniques there has to be compensation in power somewhere. What I mean is, the power of these techniques is split between the resistive power and the cutting force. When power is divided amongst both of these areas and there is no primary center of focus you may not get as potent a techniques as you want.
For the concentrated attacks, again you suffer from the same disadvantages in the first method, you lack the necessary range of width that you’d get from a general gust. Even if the slicing power is much more potent and concentrated, your narrowed technique makes it easier for your opponent to block or avoid it.

Method 3: Vortexes
Think of tornados or cyclones. In this method the factors of rotation come into the mix. This method focuses on generating powerful gusts or entities of wind through rotation. The rotation adds a couple of useful qualities to the techniques such as their ability to pull objects or opponents with superior suction force, fine tuning sharpness by having the technique form at a central point almost like a drill, or just simply raw destructive power that can uproot and shred. Whatever type jutsu, the key concept of focus and manipulation of wind to cause rotation. The rotation gives more momentum which generates more power.
Advantages of Method
As stated before, the addition of rotation generates more momentum, thereby generating more power. In situations where the rotation of the technique is centered around a specific point or center, the focus the rotation creates a sharper entity like a drill. Techniques of this magnitude generally possess the most power because instead of being wild and uncontrolled, there is a central theme, the wind is drawn in and rotates to some degree which gives more potency in any sort of wind technique whether it be a large gust, brute force, or cutting/shredding power.
Disadvantages of Method
The main disadvantage is that they're not so easy to control and once they have a set trajectory they tend to stick to it, which is bad against moving opponents. On top of that, their spinning motion means that a force with the opposite direction can shut them down and they can easily be incinerated with fire techniques, if used properly.

Method 4: Specifics
As the name suggests, these are specific techniques that aren’t classified or outside the any of these three existing methods. What they encompass are properties all their own, alternative forms of wind release. These techniques may have some degree of similarities to other methods but overall, they are unique.
Advantages of Method
Advantages are all dependent on the specific technique
Disadvantages of Method
Disadvantages are all dependent on the specific technique.
