This is for all the people that whenever susanoo is introduce immediately say "Gaara can pull them out of susanoo." I won't use the normal thing that normal uchiha fans say and thats "Onoki made it so that was possible" or "Onoki made it fast enough for that to even happen" Because neither will end the false information form spreading and that is Gaara can not pull Uchiha's from a "Full Susanoo."

I will start by introducing the differences in ribcage susanoo/ribcage with head and the Full Susanoo.
Here is a picture of Ribcage Susanoo:
For ribcage susano'o it Wraps about 2 bones above his head down to his knee caps. This leaves a grave opening in the feet. His feet is wide open and thats pretty much the only opening besides the gap in the front where the bones do not come all the way around just like a human's ribs.

Susanoo Ribcage with Arm:
There is more of a difference in this susanoo than most may actually think. In this susanoo form half of the ribcage is on not the complete ribcage and an arm on the side where half of the ribcage is. This leaves an opening on 1 side of susanoo, opening in the feet, and head. This susanoo has never been used for defense from fatal attacks.

Full Form Susanoo:
Full form susanoo covers all the openings that were orignally there in the other stages. The head and front is covered with a head for susanoo and a chest. The front is covered by the stomach. The whole body is placed on the floor.

Final Form Susanoo:
At this point of susanoo the whole body is actually placed on the floor which covers the opening in the legs, the head of susanoo covers the users head, torse and stomach cover his head and legs and the front. The gaps the were once their are all gone. Which is why we have yet to see the user being attacked around the susanoo.

Now that i have broken down the openings in majority of the susanoo stages lets move on to the susanoo Madara used on gaara.
Madara is using a susanoo in between the two stages of Ribcage and Full Susanoo i Repeat Full Not Final. It seems to have all the gaps closed except that his susanoo actually stops at the knee caps.
Which is why gaara attacked for the feet which he says here:
I will give Gaara his props for spotting this opening and taking advantage of it but against Full Susanoo or Final Susanoo The Susanoo extends passed the kneecaps and touches down to the floor.
