Complete Sasori analysis
Puppet master
When Sasori was young, his grandmother Chiyo taught him the art of puppetry, he was an extremely powerful puppeteer and had a vast knowledge and understanding when it came down to reconstruct a puppet of his own. He created a number of igneous one's, three of which are currently owned by Kankuro. According to Sasori, he has accumulated a total of 298 puppets, this alone is enough to give Sasori the advantage through sheer numbers. Another indicator of Sasori's prowess in the art of puppetry. Sasori's name is renowned world wide as an expert puppet master, also for his creation of many different puppets. Kankuro owning three of Sasori's puppets are proof enough that Sasori's understanding of puppets far exceed anyone else. Since puppets are usually rigged with long range weapons such as poison needles and poisonous gas, Sasori was a expert long distance fighter and he is easily able to dispatch of his opponents with minimal effort. Sasori has the ability to control living people as puppets, with the condition that they are weakened enough. Sasori called his art "Red secret technique"
Hiruko
Sasori maintained Hiruko's appearance during akatsuki meetings and adorned it almost every day during his spell at the Akatsuki. Hiruko is both a puppet of offensive and defensive capabilities. One of Hiruko's distinctive trait's was the scorpion like mechanical tail, located in-between a demon like mask, which according to Chiyo was a recent addition due to a weak point in the puppet. The tail was versatile as it was able to easily dispatch of Kankuro's attacks with no effort, proving it's defensive traits. The tail was was also drenched in Sasori's special poison. Hiruko's left arm was rigged by many projectiles, capable of firing many poisonous needles. It's mouth serves a similar function as it is also able to fire poisonous needles at will.
Human puppets
This is what perhaps separates Sasori's abilities as a puppet master from everybody else, he was able to form corpses into his very own puppet. What makes this unique however, is the fact that the human puppets maintain their elements. They are also able to use any Kekkei genkai abilities they possessed during their life time. This along with Sasori's poisonous arsenal made the human puppets very effective in combat.
Third Kazekage
Sasori's favourite, the third Kazekage. The third maintained his magnet release Kekkei genkai and because of this gave Sasori an immunity to all metallic weapons. This grants Sasori all the third's iron sand techniques. The iron sand could be used to fill missing joints in the other injured puppets, immobilising them. The Kazekage's right arm contained several poisonous blades while the left arm contained several scrolls able to summon thousands of similar arms to attack the target. These arms had the ability to crush an opponent, emit poisonous gas or needles. If any of these arms were chopped off during battle, a buzz saw would take it's place.
Puppet body
Although Sasori was thirty five years old he retained the appearance of a teenage boy. This was due to Sasori converting his own body into a puppet. His intestines were replaced by a thick black coil spiralling around his body and this had the capabilities to retract. Attached to his back were four scrolls containing more artillery. The first scroll allowed him to release powerful fire streams, the second scroll contained 100 puppets, known as "Red secret technique: performance of 100 puppets" . What's contained in the third and fourth scrolls are unknown. Another distinctive trait on Sasori's body is two poles emerging from the side of his hips, each attached to five large spinning blades. This bolstered his speed and offense. Both of Sasori's arms contain holes, both able to release scorching waves of fire, able to melt almost anything it makes contact with. Sasori's versatility in elements and puppetry gave him huge advantages in battle. Sasori has a mechanism in his chest which contain hundreds on chakra threads, with this he is able to access to 100 puppet technique. The only living organ which remained with Sasori is his heart, the effectiveness of a puppet body combined with a human heart is that he is able to switch body's any time he pleases, confusing the enemy.
Intelligence
Sasori has repeatedly displayed great understanding and quick thinking to analyse his opponents moves, able to quickly thing up strategies when in danger. Sasori has a vast understanding in poison, so much so that he is able to create his own poisons. Sasori had so much faith in his poison that he believed no one was able to create an antidote, reversing the poisonous effects. Sasori stated that creating an antidote required the precisest of herbs, Sasori claimed it was difficult, even for himself.
Red secret technique: performance of 100 puppets
Perhaps Sasori's trump card, this allows him to summon 100 puppets to fight for him. His chest hold 100 chakra threads which he uses to manipulate these puppets. The sheer numbers were enough to take out an entire country. All puppets are rigged with poisonous blades and needles. Evading this technique is near impossible and looks to be certain death if one is confronted with this technique. Again, this proves Sasori's capabilities as a puppet master to far succeed anyone else's as even the most elite of puppet master's can only control 10 at a time (one for each finger). Sasori's puppet body however, grants him more chakra threads.
