I agree with your analysis. The examples of Fuu and Torune just show how quickly the kidnapping actually is, and I don't think it's reasonable to say you can counter it without a S/T ninjutsu of your own. Also, his S/T technique surpassed Minato and Tobirama's because it didn't require seals, not because it was faster.
Am not sure about that. If the opponent is a sensor and has a jutsu he can activate instantly without seals, he can counter it.
:worshippy::worshippy::worshippy: Thank you for this thread, +rep. Also, it is my opinion that you can't escape his warping ability unless you have a S/T technique of your own. Also, I'm glad you pointed out that FTG is not faster than Tobi's migration. They're going through space at the same speed.

Hehe, I guess we could all agree that both techniques are awesome and neither should be underestimated. One last thing. I place Tobi 1st in every list simply because of his S/T tech. Not because of his other abilities such as Rinnegan. Seriously, aside from his S/T tech, this guy barely uses ninjutsu and I still believe he could take anyone.
Am not entirely sure about that. It seems Tobi's S/T takes a few micro seconds as you can see him gradually fading. We haven't seen that with FTG.
