It all has become crystal clear. I can't relate, but now I understand this age old question...
Why do guys hate losing to girls?
^ It's deeper than that. In a battle of physical competition or a competitive sport such as wrestling or martial arts a guy will really take it personal. From a typical guy's point of view, when they lose, there pride has been snatched away from them. Not only that, but if it is in front of a crowd of people then it is that much more humiliating. In most cases, the guy is the person favored to win while the gal is the underdog. Everyone loves the underdog so the majority of the crowd will be on the gal's side. They're thinking "I just got overpowered by a girl....in front of my friends, family, peers, and all." It hurts.
^ This shouldn't be the case. When it comes to winning and losing, one should only be ashamed if they haven't given there absolute best and beyond even if you are the victor. Flukes are hollow victories. Bring your A game. If you've given it your all then that's all you can do.
Oh and by the way, I wouldn't say I hate losing per say. It's just that when I lose in a competitive sport, I have a bitter taste in my mouth whether I lose to a guy or a girl. It tastes oh so sour. As a result, I will rectify (like that word) all of my errors, and train harder so that won't happen next time.
Anywho...thoughts? Discuss.
