cooperation. To cooperate doesn't mean there is a difference of opinion or diversity of ideas. Competition means that some are permitted to suffer for the accomplishments of others.

Who says collaboration should imply a complete singularity on all levels? People can collaborate without sharing the same opinion on everything.

Competition increases the rate with wich we develop new technologies and create jobs.

Cooperation is sometimes needed when something to important to not create would be either delayed for to long, or never created at all.
