Comparison of Sakura and Hinata achievements and progress.

A pretty straightforward thread to show wankers how things really are.

Sakura:
1. Defeated Sasori (in cooperation with Chiyo).
2. Saved Kankuro.
3. Helped with finding Pain secret.
4. Gathered intel and examined Zetsu.
5. Was very helpful throughout the war - healed the alliance, assisted in Juubi fight, assisted in sealing Kaguya.
6. Showed a lot of progress throughout the manga - healing, regeneration, vast poison knowledge, massive power, great evasion skills, powerful summon.
7. Always overshadowed by Naruto and Sasuke, but still willing to make her own decisions and stay active.
8. Had the honour of being negged by Orochimaru.

Hinata:
1. Stood up to Pain.
2. Helped during the war (combined attack with Ino).
3. Sadly showed VERY little development throughout the series. Started with a very powerful Dojutsu (unlike Sakura) but that didn't lead to her becoming a strong ninja.
4. Passive for the whole series. As if she was forced to become a ninja.

You may hate all you want, but Sakura is a MUCH BETTER character compared to Hinata. In all aspects.

Yeah, I will never understand why people think Sakura had no development. While it's true it's not as fast and massive as Naruto's or Sasuke's, she really went from pretty much nothing to a formidable ninja, with a lot of different abilities.

Her development was very realistic for her situation. Even after she cut her hair the change was not instant she still had to step over her set backs and find someone to tutor her. She was able to eventually make it to one of the top shinobi in the leaf currently of the living. I think she did just fine.

Why use part 2 Sakura , part 1 Sakura was enough .

Part 1 Sakura stood up to Gaara, despite having academy jutsu
Part 1 Sakura started of with precise chakra control
Part 1.sakura learned complex medical ninjutsu in under 3 months
Part 1 Sakura learned evasive skills and super strength
Part 1 Sakura was shown to have an intellect way beyond others in the series
Part 1 Sakura willpower is strong

That's why I focused not only on power, but also on the character. I know Hinata had way less screen time, but the direction her character took was very consistent from the beginning - which is zero progress.

But even if we took a look at power alone - she had a giantic advantage not only over Sakura, but over most of Konoha colleagues. She had a powerful Dojutsu. But either she lacked spirit or talent to make any use of it.

Actually Sakura was really neglected. Even if somewhat she could be consider a main character, she was always overshadowed. I know she still got more than Hinata, but even if they had the same amount of screen time, the result would've been the same.

The problem is Hinata herself, not lack of panel time.
