Ok, let's see:

Naruto:
1. Has known Sasuke closer for two years.
2. It took more than:
-Sasuke trying to kill him
-3 years of time
-Sasuke assaulting the kages
-Sasuke joining Akatsuki
-Sasuke trying to kill Sakura
for Naruto to romantically declare that if anything, they will both die together :bouncy:

Kakashi:
1. Has lived for about 17 years with belief that Obito was a real hero, trying to become more like him
2. Half an hour after realizing what Obito has become:

Talk about not screwing around. U_U

Kakashi's case
yes that's wht happens when u think ur best friend was a hero and turns out 2 be that he is d villain of d series.

Naruto's case
Sasuke should hav killed Sakura.
atleast one useless hokage candidate would be less.

I'd say it's just a little bit different when Obito has done everything Sasuke did.

Obito tried to kill Kakashi
17 years of time
Obito assaulted Kages
Obito basically created the Akatsuki
Obito tried to kill Gai, Naruto, and everyone else in the village

And Obito did a ton more like killing his sensei, his wife, and destroying the village. There is a big difference in evils between the two.

that is the difference between an adult (kakashi) and a child (naruto)... an adult will do wat is neccessary, a child will hope and dream...

That makes no sense since every thread has its point to it.

Now, what is the point of this thread?

Geez, if you can't figure out from the title of this thread and the section it is located in, pointing it out might not make a difference anyway.

But I'll tell you - the point of this thread is to DISCUSS the RESOLVES OF KAKASHI AND NARUTO.

And then Kakashi starts rambling about "never losing your way" later on...

And I don't see how comparing a 30 year old man to a 16 year old (one who grew up without parental guidance of any kind and suffered huge neglect) accomplishes anything.

Are you trying to tell me Kakashi had easy childhood?

The bond thing was a strong point in Part 1, but I think the whole "I'll bring Sasuke back" thing was a little forced. It dictated parts of the manga.

naruto already declare war to sasuke.

he didnt declare war, wen they were under the bridge he was still (in many ways) pleading with sasuke to come back, it was just that afterward wen sasuke threatened the village that naruto acknowledged the threat and said if he ever tried to attack the village he would fight him... and even with that i bet it would take sasuke attacking the leaf for naruto to fight him seriously... i.e. he could probably masacre a few villages and naruto wouldnt care as long as they werent the leaf... and this all pertains to how he was back then at that moment... wen war broke out, naruto's resolve might of moved up a couple notches, and if sasuke wasnt helping now, he might of droped his hisitations on sasuke's death sentence....

No I'm saying the decisions he is making now are a perfect example of why comparing these two is fruitless.

The harsh realities Kakashi suffered is why he can make these choices. The sheer nothingness of Naruto's childhood is why (when he actually makes a bond) he can't let go like others can.

Comparing their "resolves" is kind of pointless here because one is a damaged man who has already learned about losing people the hard way. The other is a damaged teenager who hasn't experienced the feeling of "loss" to the same degree. Meaning their decision making in this particular field is going to be vastly different.

This man has it right imo.
