I can't help associating the 2 characters while I was rewatching the star war films...
resemblance:
1.both were persuaded into darkness by an old villain who either faked death or concealed identity, and learnt some powerful moves from them
2.both never entire trusted their masters and had their own agenda
3.both had went towards darkness after losing their loved ones
4.both lost hope of the existing system and attempted to attain peace through radical means (project infinite tsykuyomi / Galactic Empire)
5.both wore masks and had artificial body parts
6.both attempted to manipulate/recruit powerful youth to serve their own agenda (sasuke/nagato and galen marek)
7.both partially blamed their previous masters for the death of their loved ones
8.both fought their previous masters , got defeated and lost at least one limp as a result of their arrogance
9.both tried to convert the main protagonist of the series but ended up being converted
10.both redeemed themselves by sacrificing their lives to protect the protagonist from a deadly situation
some of their differences:
obito was a latebloomer whereas anakin was the chosen one , a born genius
obito's artificial body strengthened him whereas vader's suit hindered him
obito witnessed rin get killed while anakin killed his own wife
obito inadvertently caused his minato's death while anakin stroke down obiwan himself
