I've seen a lot of people comparing character's pasts lately and their motives for their actions and they are mostly negatively compared. You can't really judge someone's character for their motives, I mean of course if you put someone like Itachi in Obito's place, he's not gonna fall so easily, but that's because characters have different mindsets and different reactions so of course some people wouldn't do the same thing so easily.

In this world there are those who are weak minded and those who are strong willed, and those who love somebody so much that when they die, its impossible to believe and shatters their personality as many examples in Naruto has shown. I just think that it's wrong to compare a character's past with another one just to belittle him/her. What do you think?

Childhood traumas can define a person's future personality. That's a fact.

Even in Naruto it seems. So you can just say that someone had it easy while someone else became what he is because of those traumas. That's fair.
