Comparing bijus and Perfect susanoo

Madara claimed that his perfect susanoo's destructive power rivaled the biju. Here's what I think he meant by that. Take a look at a the average TBB explosions.

Now look at the power of PS slashes.

The TBBs and PS slashes look equally as powerful. While PS manages to destroy more mountains, it's simply because the sword is making a long shockwave that covers more area. The power itself, by all indications, is equal. Also, here's another fun fact, PS has 4 swords to use. The 8 tails, a standard biju, can fire 4 TBBs rapidly.

So how's Madara any better than the average jinchuriki? That would be durability. This is where PS outclasses most biju. I will say this. There's a common misconception that final susanoo tanked a TBB. However, this is not the case. This is the scan they're referring to.

What actually happened is that final susanoo stopped the TBBs movement with its swords, which isn't tanking since the TBB wasn't exploding. Now here's what happened when it did explode.

The susanoo was already close to Kurama, and by the time the explosion cleared, PS was already bonded to Kurama, indicating that it was already turned to PS by the time the explosion started. Regardless, PS completely tanked a TBB without any damage.


Now compare that to the time the 8 tails was hit by a TBB.

As you can see. PS trounces bijus in the durability category. The only exception is Naruto's BM(or Minato's). This is what took down PS.

Here's what BM Naruto managed to tank without having his cloak completely destroyed.

So in reality, BM probably is significantly more durable than susanoo.



Now here's one thing I'd like to address. Some think that Madara's Perfect Susanoo is equal to or stronger than full Kurama, but that's not the case.

Madara clearly knew that Kurama would be vulnerable to Hashirama's wood style. So he had to have known from the start that Kurama would be a liability, which is why he had no choice but to merge with Kurama. But why would he do that if he already had power equal to Kurama's? Simply put, full Kurama had more striking power than Madara.

Agreed, good comparison. Madara never stated that his PS > Bijuu. His PS rivals Bijuu (Any Bijuu), he could have said that his PS beats Bijuu or that only Kurama can rival its power, but he specifically said Bijuu.

I disagree on the who tanking/durability. I still would say Susanoo has better durability, considering that defense is its primary ability. And I am not too certain about CBD; it may only take out parts of a mountains as far as I can tell. But the whole deal with firepower/force, I could roll with.

Size is an unimportant factor. However, I think you're right, but the size difference probably isn't as big as you think. I demonstrate later.

When I say striking power, I mean things like TBB. Also, the 9 tails was described to destroy mountains and create tsunamis with a tail swipe, which sounds similar in power to PS slashes.
