Depend on how Yata mirror work. Is the yata mirror covering him all around 360 degree? if so, is there space between itachi and the yata mirror? If so, then Kamui should be able to appear right in that space. Now if there is no space between the yata mirror and itachi, then the Kamui can't appear at all. If it did, it will appear right into the yata mirror as a glitch or something.

he was fighting guy too. Itachi was fighting Bee who was not in tailed beast mode, and naruto in his first tailed beast mode. not the one with the full power of the kyuubi. also I do nor recall kakashi fighting itachi with be and naruto

The point was that Yata can't block all God(s) attacks. This means the databook definition of it being able to do so is incorrect.

Which would also mean that Yata being able to black all attacks is also just an exaggeration.

No it isnt. Teleportation bypasses the mirror entirely, And walking through it means he is going through the Yata mirror, or where it would be, In the Kamui dimension. The Yata mirror isn't an interdimensional shield.
