Common Enton Misconception

Everyone is fighting about the whole Amaterasu/Enton thing, so allow me:

Itachi - Could use Amaterasu but not Enton, so that keeps it a Katon.

HOWEVER

Sasuke - Can use Amaterasu AND manipulate it. The manipulation of Amaterasu is Enton, not the technique itself.

Amaterasu = Black Flames

Enton is an elemental release of the Black flames, also called Blaze Release.
Only Sasuke is able to manipulate the black flames into different forms and variations. For example he used his enton to envelope/protect his Susano against Raikage.

Overall someone who has Enton (Blaze Release) > Someone with a mere Amaterasu, in terms of using the black flames.

Why would it be a katon but when manipulated turns into enton?
