Welcome to Water 101, young one. u_u

First off, start by telling me everything you know about Water Release. What are its weaknesses, what are its strength. What are the kekkei genkais that require Water Release. Would Water Release be pretty useful to you in battle? Why?

Its good to be in your class. Grandad.

Water is the most calm and free-flowing elements. These characteristics dictate its nature, making it useful in combat due to the fluidity and intense lack of control that is required to utilize it. Lightning and Fire take extreme control, but manipulation of water takes calmer movements and so controlling it comes more naturally.

While its the calmest element, it can also become one of the most destructive. Putting a large amount of force behind of wave gives it power that can't be paralleled by all the other elements. In terms of scale, Water has the highest potential to be the "best" element, a clear testament of this is Kisame of the Legendary Akatsuki. RIP Kisame U_U. My favourite character died too soon.

Water is weak to Earth (my favourite element ) due to the solid element dissipating the force of the waves, essentially nullifying any effect they could have on the opponent. Water is strong to Fire because it extinguishes the flames. Common sense, i know, but it has to be said.

Water and Lightning interact in a very odd way, most of the other elemental relationships are straightforward but these two insist on complicating things U_U. Water conducts electricity (Lightning) and so in a way can have a strength over Lightning as it can redirect it back onto the user. Lightning also gives an element of lethality to Water Techniques, something most of them lack in.

Water and Wind simply react in a neutral manner to eachother. Wind seeks to overpower the water, Water seeks to overpower the wind. When they are used on equal ranks, they dissipate eachother's force entirely.

Kekkei Genkais that rely on water include: Storm Release (Lightning + Water), Wood Release (Earth + Water), Boil Release (Fire + Water) and Ice Release (Wind + Water).

Come to think of it, this element is pretty damn useful. It forms a KG relationship with all the other elements and can even make Mud Release when used with water.

I would mainly use water to create mud offensives, redirect Lightning (to counteract my Earth weakness), take out Fire Release techniques (S-rank), give my water masks some jutsu to use xd and to put pressure on highly intensive users of Lightning and Fire (Uchiha fanboys :lmao:).

Well, technically, Mud Release is more of a custom creation rather than a cannon creation. Like, if you try to use earth techniques and water release techniques in conjunction, they wouldn't really form mud.

*brings us to a lake*

Most water techniques, like you may know, require a water source so we'll be training here for the rest of your water training. Lets begin, shall we?

(Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water, small blasts, and small shields of water.

For your first technique, I want you to start gathering your water chakra. Once you got it, channel that water chakra into that lake over there and then mold the chakra into a small portion of the lake. You then finally with careful manipulation, bring out some of the water and shape them into small water waves. Manipulate the water waves to head towards the land and hit my shadow clone, knocking him down to ground. Try it out.

*creates a clone*

*Walking over to the lake, i carefully envision the nature of Suiton chakra. I then place both my hands on top of the lake and begin channeling my chakra into a small section of the lake. After molding the section and gaining enough control over it, i carefully remove it from the water, shaping them into small waves of water which i direct straight towards your clone.*

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidden Mist Jutsu
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user creates a thick, dense mist that covers the surrounding area.

This is an awesome technique. There are such great uses for it such as concealing your presence, a set-up for a follow-up technique such as Silent Homicide technique and dealing with the sharingan. You will first gather your water chakra from within your body and the channel it to your surroundings. As you have done that, mold the water chakra within the air and with shape manipulation, form a really dense, thick mist around you. Soon, a mist will form and spread around.

*I begin channeling my Suiton chakra around my body and mold the chakra to create a thick mist on releasing the jutsu instead of a body of water. After establishing a good level of chakra control i release the chakra into the air to form a foggy mist, which then use shape manipulation to increase its density and alter its shape.

*Channeling my chakra around my body, i envision the nature of suiton, molding my chakra to form a small portion of water which i then utilize shape manipulation to alter into the shape of a sword. After making sure the sword will definitely keep its form, i begin sharpening the tip of it to turn it from a blunt stick of water into a deadly weapon. I then run towards a nearby tree, thrusting the sword deep into the bark of it.*

Alright, on to this technique ^_^ :

(Suiton: Suikōtoppa) – Water Release: Water Shark Breakthrough
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: short
Chakra cost 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will create a water shark to jump into the air and bolt towards the opponent, striking them.
Note: Requires a water source.

Alright, head over to that lake over there and concentrate on channeling your water chakra in it. Once thats done, mold the water chakra within the water to gain control over it and with shape manipulation, form a shark made entirely out of water. Manipulate the shark to jump up onto the surface and strike my clone down causing him to go poof.

*I move over to the lake and place my hands upon its surface, beginning to channel my Suiton chakra into it, in attempt to take control of the water. After i've channeled enough chakra into it, i mold the chakra using shape manipulation, turning the source of water i took control of to form into the shape of a shark composed of nothing but water. I then manipulate the chakra to jump out of the lake, straight towards your clone to attack it and cause the clone to disperse.*

(Suiton: Suiben) - Water Release: Water whip
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After the user performs a series of 3 hand seals Rat → Dog → Ox, the user creates a whip of water that can be used to strike the opponent with a lashing action or wrap around the target to bind them. This technique can also have lightning techniques channeled through when they have bound their victim with the water whip.

After performing a total of three handseals, Rat, Dog and Ox, you will concentrate on gathering your water chakra into the palm of your hands. Mold the water chakra there to cause water to materialize in your hands. With shape manipulation, you will shape the water into a whip that you can use to make lashing strikes or to bind them. If you know Wave of inspiration, it would be a great time to use it but remember, let go off the whip before electrifying the water to avoid being electrocuted. :p

(Suiton: Mizuame Nababara) - Water Style: Starch Syrup Capture Field
Rank: C
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user After performing the required hand seals Ram → Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.

With the usage of two handseals, you will channel your water chakra inside your mouth and mix it with your saliva a bit. Once you done that, you will be able to materialize some water in your mouth and with careful shape manipulation, you will be able to turn it into a sticky, starchy solution. Spew it out of your mouth and towards the desired location. The sticky solution will only cover a minimum of a few metres but if you concentrate hard enough, you will be able to materialize more of it and cover maybe a maximum of a whole one and a half range. This technique is used to immobilize your target, binding them to the ground and then finishing them off while their movement is limited with a technique such as Stone Spikes or maybe Earth Fissure. Note that it is also a long-ranged technique :p

*Creates a rock clone*

*After performing the necessary handseals of Rat → Dog → Ox, i begin concentrating my suiton chakra into my hands in attempt to cause a whip composed entirely of water to materialize in my hand. I then use the whip to wrap around my rock clone, severely constricting him, thus allowing me to hold him firmly in place. I then release the whip's grip, and allow my clone to move freely.*

*Channeling my Suiton chakra to my lungs after performing the handseals of Ram → Tiger, I expel a stream of suiton which covers a few meters in range. The consistency of the expelled sution largely differs from the usual techniques, with the liquid having a much higher viscosity and a degree of adhesivness, giving it a new array of applications. Directing the expelled stream in the direction of my Rock clone, i completely ensnare him in a blanket of adhesive liquid, completely inhibiting him mobility once again.*
