[Discussion] Comics vs Manga

Which do you think is better and why? I think manga is better because the story and characters are just better to me in my opinion. What do you guys think? Leave your thoughts! =D

What the hell is wrong with you man, if comics sucked and Manga is amazing, but comics are free and Manga costs, you would chose Comics over Manga ?

Manga is way better, because it has alot of emotions and character build up is key in every manga. and i think most comics target the younger generation.

Just so you know,

there are probably MILLIONS of different comics and manga. So to sit there and say "manga is better" just because you know only a few mangas, doesn't make ALL manga better...that's just ridiculous.

You've obviously haven't read some marvel comics...

I say they are about even. Mangas are more like epics while comics tell different stories after every few issues or so. I mean manga is better for the consistent plot but some of the best action I have ever seen on anything printed has been in comics. Plus comics are in color and they have more time to make their art consistent.

Well manga without a 2nd thought ... Comic books are recycling characters since my grandpa was born 1939. ... And to many universes and variation of earth and power ... Manga on the on the other hand , has an END , which means the character can be used for movies but not for new manga purposes , universes and all that crap . One day , if my kids read comic books , i have a feeling they will read a futuristic spider-man vers with the same name as the same old one we had as kids xD .

Uhm...Both manga and comics cost money where it's applicable to buy them, but they are both free where it's applicable to stream. I don't know where you got that idea from...

If the art is good in the comic that I'm reading, then I'd choose comics.
If not, then I'd choose manga.
