When I started this I wanted to compare the movie trilogies, but I found out only two of the trilogies are actually directed through entirety by 1 director and those are Sam Raimi's Spider-Man and Christopher Nolan's Batman. My initial cut off for the trilogies was 1 director/3 titles but that's not much of a list so I opened it up. Here's what I found it may surprise some of you.

Total- Box office: $1,464,135,313. Budget: $430,000,000. Profit: $1,034,135,313.

I was a little surprised to see some of these numbers. I thought Blade was a lot better than the numbers show and I don't even like Vampires. I thought ASM would be doing a little better, it needs to make $1 bil. next movie to break top 3. When the next X-Man movie comes out I can add First Class and DoFP into a new trilogy and Wolverine 3 but I didn't feel they belonged in these lists yet. Pretty cool to see Burton's Batman had such high numbers.

whaaaaaat??? that story is the thing! best Baine I've ever seen!!
Now I know you're ****ing around or you never saw Schumaker's Bane. Despite everything he did wrong with the Batman movies he knew how to make it look like a Batman story, shame he couldn't tell a Batman story. Nolan and Schumaker need to collab, Schumaker can make it look like Batman and Nolan can make it feel like Batman, as long as he goes "TDK" style not Rises or Begins style.

When did I say I hate Bale? I hate how he portrayed Batman but he was good in American Psycho, aside from those two I don't know anything else he's done so I can't say whether I really like him or dislike him as an actor. Loki's fine, i didn't know as much about him as I did Batman going in so not really as much to compare him against. As for Bane, Tom Hardy is a good big actor, he was funny and threatening in Bronson but the overall Bane design and mask ruined the character for me. Besides his name there was virtually nothing of Bane, no Venom, no mask, they glanced over his story in order to mislead the audience into thinking Bane was Ra's child when anyone familiar knew it was a daughter. In all the movies were good I just don't appreciate all the liberties Nolan took with the cast.

What? Bane was great! Sure, he's missing the venom, but it's not a big deal if everything else is done so awesomely. As for the twist, it's like the twist in Begins where Ra's was Ducard, but not really because he's Ra's! And honestly, mostly everyone knew Miranda Tate was really Talia and didn't believe in Bane being the son of Ra's. Atleast, general Batman fans.

"Of course!"

And this moment was awesome!

And the mask design is amazing. Much cooler and better than the luchador mask.

And they made him all badass and smart and cool, while also giving him such a great backstory and relationship with Talia, that I love.

The mask was the worst part it made no sense and then they try to add in this feature that his mask holds in his pain, WHAT?
This is Bane, except for the green skin which was a result of Ivy anyhow.

Hardy's best part was as you showed the "breaking the bat" recreation, besides that he was just a generic villain, working for a benefactor. Bane shouldn't have been a puppet.
