Roger wastes no time upon seeing Hanzo. Knowing him to be the Raikages right hand man, he realize that he can't let his guard down and charges straight at Hanzo while performing the snake handseal to cover his body in earth chakra that harden his body and increase his overall toughness.
Let's see if i got what it takes then. Busoshoku Koka!
While continuing to close distance between him and Hanzo, he throws 3 kunais at him as Roger leaps into the air to extend his right leg and covers it in wind chakra as he delivers a powerful flying kick to Hanzo's face that not only pack more power from his hardened body but also given more force due to his wind chakra enhancing his kick. Excuse me if I fail with this bio xD Its gonna still take some getting used to after all. However Hanzo's just too much of a beast to pass up. I'll be doing my best though so don't destroy meh xD
Hanzo begins to swing his Kusarigama on the right the side of him allowing the bladed end to gain momentum as Roger made his way towards him, the first thing Hanzo noticed was the skin of his opponent darkening and with that he knew his opponent had already begun to make his intent clear. He let the chain of the weapon give way as he controlled it with masterful precision, sending the bladed end shooting forward in doing so it easily deflected the kunai, but with Roger now being in air, it surely missed him in the meantime. A few quick movements would change all of that, Roger had focused his wind chakra into his leg aiming for Hanzo , with a flick of his rist and a tug he caused the bladed end to to pointed straight in the sky, and come returning back to him, only at this angle it would be hard for Roger to see exactly what was going on behind him and, thus Hanzo focused lightning chakra into the chain, electrically charging the weapon as the bladed end came back towards Hanzo it would strike Roger in the back penetrating his earth defense.

With the weapon now stuck in Roger back another motion pull of the chain did two things, it caused Roger to be thrown to the ground preventing him from following up with the Dynamic Entry he was preparing to do and also unlatched the bladed end from inside of Roger's back allowing Hanzo's weapon to return to his side again.

Hanzo smirks under his mask at the adeptness of this man, he anticipating this battle to be entertaining to say the least. Watching as the man made his way towards him much more quickly now, he quickly retracted his Kusarigama, being quite proficient at the fire release he quickly brought a single-handed tiger seal to his mouth with his other hand at the same time all the while pouncing backwards to get away from Roger and keep himself in mid-range. In doing so he unleashed a torrent of fire that would engulf his attacker's leg and incinerate him in the process despite the earth based defense he was now armored in.

That should by him enough time, his next thought became clear in a moment's notice he wasn't going to battle without his long-time partner Ibuse, and by simple body memory he cast the seals after he cut his hand a small bit with his Kusarigama. Appearing beneath his master, Hanzo stood proudly atop it's head as he cast the rain technique he was trying to cast before.

It can then resurface beneath Hanzō's enemies and swallow them, trapping them in its mouth until they have succumbed to the fatal effects of the poison. Roger now heading down on Hanzo aided by the momentum of the wind sees Hanzo retract his Kusarigama and make a single handseal while jumping back to keep the distance between them, Roger lands on the ground with his leg and slices the ground with his wind enhanced leg just before Hanzo releases massive intense flames at him. Roger with almost no time to react makes a single handseal to coat himself and his skin in fire chakra that would make his body fire resistant, with it aided by his earth armor. He'd be able to withstand the fire that now engulfs him as he begins running towards Hanzo exhaling the flames large enough to block his own vision and not having awareness of Roger who is now closing distance while heading directly against the fire. He reaches short range of Hanzo as he concentrates fire chakra in his arm that erupts, with little distance between them. Roger now becomes visible to Hanzo and gets out of the fire as he leans forward with his right foot before dealing a powerful punch with his right hand to Hanzos abdomen which causes fire to blast through his back, frying all of his inner organs and causing near fatal injuries while smirking at his chance to use the Red Hawk.

Hanzo was taken by surprise to his his foe came charging through the flames, but he had to quickly realize this guy was apart of Kumo just as he so he had to expect nothing less. With a limited amount of time to react as he weighed his options, the fire behind Roger cleared slightly and Hanzo could just make out a decent sized boulder from Roger's impact with the ground. He had different options, but he knew what he wanted to do as soon as he saw the rubble. Delving back into his days at the academy, he went back to the basics. Hanzo body quickly was substituted with the rubble as Roger drove his fist into what he thought was Hanzo the illusion though quickly cracked as the rock shattered and the fire spread out from behind it. However, Hanzo was a master at his craft and using his favorite ninja tool, a single explosive tag was atop the rock out of view as the flames from Roger's attack caught it and in a moment's notice the tag had exploded point blank range of Roger causing grave damage despite him being still clad in that Earth defense of his.

Hanzo himself had watched the events unfold from just behind Roger as the flames cleared. Seeing his comrade take damage like that wasn't something he was keen of, but this was the world of ninja and only the strongest survived. He took this as a chance to gather his chakra for any counter attack should it occur.
Seeing as the fire from my red hawk would dwarf the explosion of your mere explosive tag and i'd make huge hole in the rock while crumbling the rest, i'd receive almost no damage at all. I don't know why you said it'd cause grave injuries. Still, moving on..

He changes his strategy and decides to play his cards right inorder to systematically break down his opponent before destroying him. Also slightly ashamed and disappointed that he wasted his Red Hawk on a mere boulder like in his training. He begins his new tactic to bring about the checkmate and awakenes his 1t sharingan.

However, what Hanzo is not aware of is the lightning spear that Roger released from his mouth moments after the meteor-like fireballs, taking advantage of the fire that would block Hanzo's vision and using the speed of the lightning that due to its heat would go through one of the fireball that is closest to Hanzo's location without effecting it and hit him with the surprise attack, injuring Hanzo and numbing him before the fireballs destroy him as they erupt into a geyser of flames.

Hanzo notices the glean in his opponent's eye changes to a ruby red and quickly realize he opponent possessed that god forsaken dojutsu. He shifted his gaze to an area around his opponent's chest making sure all the while he never made eye contact with the Uchiha, he would continually make a conscious effort in doing so the rest of the match.
However he didn't stop with that, he watched as three large fire balls got expelled from Roger's mouth and quickly made preparations to defend against them. He rapidly wove a few handseals before releasing a substantial amount of water that formed itself into a wall before him. In a attempt to block the fire, it was only moments later as the wall rose that Hanzo saw the lightning slipping through the fire unfortuantly it would collide with the water wall as well electrifying the water and taking out the fireballs as well.

As steam covered the area from the collison on the two attacks, Hanzo knew his opponent could see him, and luckily after the release of his water technique, he had begun focusing on the handseals for his personal summon and once it appreaed in a tuft of smoke he had it release it's Poison Fog technique covering a wide area before them as well.
