[Discussion] Colors

We all see it each and every day, even colors have a certain "stereotype"

Think about it, when you see green you think about trees, blue about boys and pink about girls.

For red it's a different story, when you see red you think about love, but the second tought that reaches you is violence.
What I'm trying to say is that each color holds a meaning or an emotion.

Now for the discussion, Would you agree if I said that the right type of Blue is more violent than the color red?
It seems people are tended to believe that red is the dominant aggresive colour.

Would you agree on that?

Nothing is more violent than red, blood comes to mind instantly for me.

I think of money and weed simultaneously when green is mentioned.

Red seems to be the most vicious color to me. when i think of blue, i think of.. water, the sea and ocean.

Blue is emotion, calm, cool, gloomy, apathetic, blue is a big contradiction, but it isn't more violent than red the color of blood/death.

Have you ever seen the wolf cry to the blue corn moon? Or even asked a Bobcat why he grins? Can you sing with all of the voices of the mountains? Can you paint with all the colors of the wind? Ask yourself that and then you will truly know the answer to your question.

As for green I think of money, the environment, and greed.

Red is linked with passion and boldness so its only natural it'd be seen as the dominant aggressive colour.
I see green and think of nature and peace. I see blue and think of the ocean and being calm or sleepy.
When I see warm colours I'm fueled up. When it's colder colours I want to curl under my blanket.
Colour is all subjective.

Well blue is a more soothing color. It's relaxing and calming. Red shows more aggression and violence. Like blood is being shed. And the color black looks so nice with red because after violence and aggression, death can soon occur. And give new life, or the color white.

Look, I'm an artist and I view colors very simply.

Blue = Sonic
Red = Knuckles
Yellow = Tails

White is color at its most complete and pure, the color of perfection. The color meaning of white is purity, innocence, wholeness and completion. >.>

You guys have all given me great answers, so the majority agrees that blue is a soothing and calm color while red maintains it's aggressiveness, good to know!

I personally see white as a dark color, scary and way too mysterious to be around, have you ever taught about how scary a little girl looks in a white dress with black hair? It's because she looks 'dead' and seems to be clean of all earthly factors. Same goes for white on other things, a complete white house scares the shit out off a lot of people. XD
