[Question] Collecting Manga?

Hey, thanks for taking the time to read this. I recently started buy/collecting Manga. Well, I wouldn't call it a collection just yet. I only have the first two volumes of Blue Exorcist. For my collection, should I continue with Blue Exorcist and get volumes 3-10 or mix it up a bit and get, maybe, two more volumes of Blue Exorcist and start getting other series also?
Basically, should I buy one series at a time or get different Mangas for more variety? Your opinions?

Its your preference but currently i'm getting three series at a time two volumes at a time

Well if you have the money do it , i would go for your favorite series first .

Personally, I think it's a waste of money. Buying manga volumes only works as a decorative piece in your bedroom.

I really like reading, so I prefer buying a Manga over an Anime. Thanks for the suggestions!
Edit:
I just ordered 3-5 of Blue Exorcist and decided to get Death Note Black Edition Volume one. I want to read the Manga since I have seen the Anime.
