It's about time you guys let other people register on the site again. I've been waiting. :hooray:
Now please allow me to introduce myself. I am Sir Marty the Magnificent. I've been an avid fan of Naruto for so many years now. I decided to join a few Naruto forums (maybe you've seen me around NarutoForums and NarutoViz) because a few of my friends (more like so-called) kind of fell out of the Naruto fandom. One of my friends, who introduced to me to the anime back when it premiered on Toonami, ended up saying he doesn't keep up with the episodes anymore because "there's too much" and claims he's kept up by playing the games. So much for being a fan.
I have another friend who says that he stopped following it because there's better anime/manga out there atm, while others have simply been dabbling into other anime/manga so they just keep falling behind. It's so disappointing.
As for myself I've been trying to get into anime/manga as well, but it's been very difficult because many of the ones I've seen/read haven't been able to pull me in like Naruto and Pokémon have. I don't know why, but I'm just a Naruto and Pokémon fanboy. I can't get that connection like I've gotten with Naruto and Pokémon.
My main favorite character in Naruto is Kabuto Yakushi (Fourth Great Ninja War-onwards) and my favorite episode/chapter is "Madara Uchiha." I'm all caught up with English dub, subbed, and the manga.
Outside of Naruto and Pokémon, I'm into Godzilla, Star Wars, Halo, machinimas, cosplaying, gaming, and a bit of YuGiOh here and there.
Additionally, one thing I'd like to do is become a successful songwriter and possibly comedic singer too. I've been writing songs recently about gaming and things relating to gamers; such as being MLG, competitive gaming, casual gamers, etc. These songs are mainly going to be parodies of songs that already exist, mostly by mainstream pop artists, and hopefully I'll be able to release this content and my future audience will enjoy it.
Other things I want to tackle is competitive gaming, professional cosplaying, machinimating, voice acting, and visual effects artistry. I'd have to say the first 3 things are the big 3 things I'd like to get involved with.
